The definition of culture is polyhedral. By culture we mean folklore, history, etiquette and many other things. The truth is that a culture is simply composed of these things and is a complicated unit that can be divided into several categories. There is nothing more pleasant than to dive into the world of wonders and artifacts and start a long journey for cognition. Unfortunately, our society seems to ignore that priceless inheritance we received from ancestors to contribute and give to our posterities.
So many languages, so many cultures… There are hundreds of nations with specific mentalities and national priorities. Culture investigation takes centuries to discover all the secrets. Let us stop on the most famous cultures of the world that are still popular and respected. Every year more and more tourists visit Egypt to look at the seventh wonder of the world and touch the atmosphere of mystery. This country has a thousand year old culture and its mysteries are so numerous that scholars in the future will still have a lot to do, deciphering ancient alphabets, collecting artifacts and building timelines. The fact that is going to make this country a mysterious place forever is that some of the secrets will never be revealed. Some of ancient inscriptions done on wax and clay boards are still kept in the British Museum. The most of them were destroyed for wax and clay are not at all solid materials. Some of scholars still feel sorrow because of the destruction of the library in Alexandria, where all the books, maps and documents of Egypt were kept. Another culture famous for written records and geniuses that gave birth to a number of scientists is Greek culture. Ancient Greece became the cradle of democracy and independence. Greek myths are famous all over the world and literature and art masterpieces still attract attention of millions. On the Far East there is also a culture, silk and sailing skills of which were famous all over the world. The world that lived without calamity, without any attack intentions, gave birth to ancient philosophy currents and numerous recipes.
Nobody will dare to deny the fact that every culture makes a special contribution to the development of the world. But no matter how attractive these cultures seem, it is vitally important to know your own culture, a culture of your family and your nation. We are to bring up pride, respects and love for our country in our children. The cradle of the culture is the human soul, the priceless thing that worth all the treasures in the world. Loosing your culture you loose it too.
